Stillpoint has been on the Dallas music scene
since September 2005. With shows under their belt
ranging from Denton to College Station and a
constantly growing fanbase, there is no sign of
Stillpoint slowing down.
Stillpoint is currently in the process of
releasing a new EP which should be ready sometime
in early to mid summer. Keep an eye out for it! |

THE BAND
Brad (vocals/lead guitar) has a very down to earth personality and is
influenced by too many bands to name. A lot of fans have said his voice is
"...extremely unique" and "...is incredibly passionate about
the lyrics." But singing is not Brad's only talent. Brad also
provides lead guitar for STILLPOINT. Using an old bluesy style of lead, Brad
is sure to catch the attention of many of our fellow musicians on songs such
as "I'll Calm Down". More on Brad @

Matt (guitar) is a big ball of energy that will destroy any stage that
comes in his path. He believes that is important to be a performer as much as
an artist. His song writing is influenced by many bands in many different
ways. The words he writes reflect the styles of Counting Crows, The Cure, and
Sublime. Matt's guitar writing is heavily influenced by: 80’s New wave,
90’s alternative/grunge; and today’s art metal, and indie rock!!! More on

Jonathan (drums) is a powerhouse drummer. His style reflects the likes
of Lars Ulrich, Tommy Lee, Taylor Hawkins and John Bonham. Although most of
the show he is hidden behind his monster of a drum kit, he manages to find his
moments to shine. No style is beyond Jonathan's drumming skills, believe
us we've tried to find something he simply could not play. Hit the

Kyle (bass) is often referred to as "the glue that holds the band
together". His bass lines are drawn from influences such as The Red Hot
Chili Peppers, Primus, Rush, and The Toadies just to name a few. The bass
lines can range from the variety you hear in "I'll Calm Down"
to a very simple, easy going bass line such as in "No" or
"Friends". Kyle has a unique style that is always evolving and
creating more and more interesting rhythms. Kyle can be found here

The influences from all four members combine to form a unique sound. Some
songs are fun, some serious, others dramatic. There's something for
everyone at a Stillpoint show.
